The moon has appeared
and shone upon us from the valley of Wada`
It is our duty to show gratitude
for the inviter has called us to Allah

O ye who has been raised (as a prophet)
from amongst us,
you have come with a command
and we do not hesitate to obey,

O my beloved,
I ask thee to be a mediator
on the Day of Gathering
and Reckoning,

Our Lord has bestowed His Favor
upon he who has exonerated his land,
You are our savior,
O Ye with the beautiful seal,

Now we wear the cloak of glory
after living in shameless falsehood,
O Ye who answers all prayers,
let the curtain fall upon us
and cover all our past sins
