Allah in the name of the most Affectionate the Merciful.

بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

1. By the sun and its brightness.

1. وَ الشَّمْسِ وَ ضُحٰىهَا۪ۙ۝۱

2. And by the moon when it follows it.

2. وَ الْقَمَرِ اِذَا تَلٰىهَا۪ۙ۝۲

3. And by the day when it brightens it

3. وَ النَّهَارِ اِذَا جَلّٰىهَا۪ۙ۝۳

4. And by ' the night when it covers it.

4. وَ الَّیْلِ اِذَا یَغْشٰىهَا۪ۙ۝۴

5. And by the heaven and its Maker.

5. وَ السَّمَآءِ وَ مَا بَنٰىهَا۪ۙ۝۵

6. And by the earth and its Expansionist .

6. وَ الْاَرْضِ وَ مَا طَحٰىهَا۪ۙ۝۶

7. And by the soul and Him who perfected it

7. وَ نَفْسٍ وَّ مَا سَوّٰىهَا۪ۙ۝۷

8. Then inspired its and it piety;

8. فَاَلْهَمَهَا فُجُوْرَهَا وَ تَقْوٰىهَا۪ۙ۝۸

9. Undoubtedly he attained to his goal who cleansed it.

9. قَدْ اَفْلَحَ مَنْ زَكّٰىهَا۪ۙ۝۹

10. . And he failed who covered it in sin.

10. وَ قَدْ خَابَ مَنْ دَسّٰىهَاؕ۝۱۰

11. The Thamud belied in their contumacy.

11. كَذَّبَتْ ثَمُوْدُ بِطَغْوٰىهَا۪ۤۙ۝۱۱

12. When the most wretched of them got up

12. اِذِ انْۢبَعَثَ اَشْقٰىهَا۪ۙ۝۱۲

13. Then the Messenger of Allah said beware of the she camel of Allah and her drinking day.

13. فَقَالَ لَهُمْ رَسُوْلُ اللّٰهِ نَاقَةَ اللّٰهِ وَ سُقْیٰهَاؕ۝۱۳

14. Then they belied him and ham strung her so their Lord destroyed them for their sin and leveled the town.

14. فَكَذَّبُوْهُ فَعَقَرُوْهَا١۪ۙ۬ فَدَمْدَمَ عَلَیْهِمْ رَبُّهُمْ بِذَنْۢبِهِمْ فَسَوّٰىهَا۪ۙ۝۱۴

15. And He feared not the consequences thereof.

15. وَ لَا یَخَافُ عُقْبٰهَا۠۝۱۵
