Allah in the name of the most Affectionate the Merciful.

بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

1. Undoubtedly, there has come to you the news of a calamity that shall over spread.

1. هَلْ اَتٰىكَ حَدِیْثُ الْغَاشِیَةِؕ۝۱

2. Many faces on that day shall be cast down.

2. وُجُوْهٌ یَّوْمَىِٕذٍ خَاشِعَةٌۙ۝۲

3. Toiling, labouring hard;

3. عَامِلَةٌ نَّاصِبَةٌۙ۝۳

4. They shall enter a blazing fire;

4. تَصْلٰى نَارًا حَامِیَةًۙ۝۴

5. They are made to drink of a spring fiercely boiling.

5. تُسْقٰى مِنْ عَیْنٍ اٰنِیَةٍؕ۝۵

6. They will have no food, but fire thorns.

6. لَیْسَ لَهُمْ طَعَامٌ اِلَّا مِنْ ضَرِیْعٍۙ۝۶

7. which will neither fatten nor avail against hunger.

7. لَّا یُسْمِنُ وَ لَا یُغْنِیْ مِنْ جُوْعٍؕ۝۷

8. Many faces on that day are in pleasure.

8. وُجُوْهٌ یَّوْمَىِٕذٍ نَّاعِمَةٌۙ۝۸

9. Pleased with their endeavour;

9. لِّسَعْیِهَا رَاضِیَةٌۙ۝۹

10. In a lofty garden.

10. فِیْ جَنَّةٍ عَالِیَةٍۙ۝۱۰

11. Wherein they will hear no vain talk.

11. لَّا تَسْمَعُ فِیْهَا لَاغِیَةًؕ۝۱۱

12. Therein is a running spring,

12. فِیْهَا عَیْنٌ جَارِیَةٌۘ۝۱۲

13. Therein are uplifted couches.

13. فِیْهَا سُرُرٌ مَّرْفُوْعَةٌۙ۝۱۳

14. And arranged goblets.

14. وَّ اَكْوَابٌ مَّوْضُوْعَةٌۙ۝۱۴

15. And carpets spread out symmetrically.

15. وَّ نَمَارِقُ مَصْفُوْفَةٌۙ۝۱۵

16. And large white cloths spread over.

16. وَّ زَرَابِیُّ مَبْثُوْثَةٌؕ۝۱۶

17. Do they not look at the camel, how created?

17. اَفَلَا یَنْظُرُوْنَ اِلَى الْاِبِلِ كَیْفَ خُلِقَتْٙ۝۱۷

18. And at the heaven, how it has been raised high?

18. وَ اِلَى السَّمَآءِ كَیْفَ رُفِعَتْٙ۝۱۸

19. And at the mountains, how they have been set up?

19. وَ اِلَى الْجِبَالِ كَیْفَ نُصِبَتْٙ۝۱۹

20. And at the earth, how it has been spread out?

20. وَ اِلَى الْاَرْضِ كَیْفَ سُطِحَتْٙ۝۲۰

21. Admonish you then; you are but an admonisher.

21. فَذَكِّرْ١ؕ۫ اِنَّمَاۤ اَنْتَ مُذَكِّرٌؕ۝۲۱

22. You are not superintendent over them.

22. لَسْتَ عَلَیْهِمْ بِمُصَۜیْطِرٍۙ۝۲۲

23. But whoever turns away and disbelieves,

23. اِلَّا مَنْ تَوَلّٰى وَ كَفَرَۙ۝۲۳

24. Allah will torment him with great torment.

24. فَیُعَذِّبُهُ اللّٰهُ الْعَذَابَ الْاَكْبَرَؕ۝۲۴

25. Undoubtedly, they are to return to Us.

25. اِنَّ اِلَیْنَاۤ اِیَابَهُمْۙ۝۲۵

26. Then, undoubtedly, it is for Us to take their account.

26. ثُمَّ اِنَّ عَلَیْنَا حِسَابَهُمْ۠۝۲۶
