Allah in the name of the most Affectionate the Merciful.

بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

1. When the sunshine is folded up,

1. اِذَا الشَّمْسُ كُوِّرَتْ۪ۙ۝۱

2. And when the stars fall off,

2. وَ اِذَا النُّجُوْمُ انْكَدَرَتْ۪ۙ۝۲

3. And when the mountains are made to move,

3. وَ اِذَا الْجِبَالُ سُیِّرَتْ۪ۙ۝۳

4. And when the pregnant she camels are abandoned.

4. وَ اِذَا الْعِشَارُ عُطِّلَتْ۪ۙ۝۴

5. And when the beasts are gathered together,

5. وَ اِذَا الْوُحُوْشُ حُشِرَتْ۪ۙ۝۵

6. And when the seas are kindled,

6. وَ اِذَا الْبِحَارُ سُجِّرَتْ۪ۙ۝۶

7. And when the souls are paired.

7. وَ اِذَا النُّفُوْسُ زُوِّجَتْ۪ۙ۝۷

8. And when the female buried alive is questioned about.

8. وَ اِذَا الْمَوْءٗدَةُ سُىِٕلَتْ۪ۙ۝۸

9. For what crime was she killed?

9. بِاَیِّ ذَنْۢبٍ قُتِلَتْۚ۝۹

10. And when the sheets of actions are opened,

10. وَ اِذَا الصُّحُفُ نُشِرَتْ۪ۙ۝۱۰

11. And when the heaven is taken off from its place,

11. وَ اِذَا السَّمَآءُ كُشِطَتْ۪ۙ۝۱۱

12. And when the Hell is caused to flare up,

12. وَ اِذَا الْجَحِیْمُ سُعِّرَتْ۪ۙ۝۱۲

13. And when the Paradise is brought, near,

13. وَ اِذَا الْجَنَّةُ اُزْلِفَتْ۪ۙ۝۱۳

14. (Then) each soul shall know what it has brought forward.

14. عَلِمَتْ نَفْسٌ مَّاۤ اَحْضَرَتْؕ۝۱۴

15. Then I swear by those that recede;

15. فَلَاۤ اُقْسِمُ بِالْخُنَّسِۙ۝۱۵

16. More straight and then stop.

16. الْجَوَارِ الْكُنَّسِۙ۝۱۶

17. And by the night when it departs.

17. وَ الَّیْلِ اِذَا عَسْعَسَۙ۝۱۷

18. And by the morning when it breathes.

18. وَ الصُّبْحِ اِذَا تَنَفَّسَۙ۝۱۸

19. Undoubtedly, this is the recitation of a noble Messenger.

19. اِنَّهٗ لَقَوْلُ رَسُوْلٍ كَرِیْمٍۙ۝۱۹

20. Who is powerful, dignified in the presence of the Lord of the Throne.

20. ذِیْ قُوَّةٍ عِنْدَ ذِی الْعَرْشِ مَكِیْنٍۙ۝۲۰

21. There He is obeyed, He is trustworthy.

21. مُّطَاعٍ ثَمَّ اَمِیْنٍؕ۝۲۱

22. And your companion is not mad.

22. وَ مَا صَاحِبُكُمْ بِمَجْنُوْنٍۚ۝۲۲

23. And undoubtedly, he saw him on the bright horizon.

23. وَ لَقَدْ رَاٰهُ بِالْاُفُقِ الْمُبِیْنِۚ۝۲۳

24. And he is not niggardly as to the disclosing of unseen.

24. وَ مَا هُوَ عَلَى الْغَیْبِ بِضَنِیْنٍۚ۝۲۴

25. And the Quran is not the recitation of satan (Devil) the accursed.

25. وَ مَا هُوَ بِقَوْلِ شَیْطٰنٍ رَّجِیْمٍۙ۝۲۵

26. Whither, then, are you going?

26. فَاَیْنَ تَذْهَبُوْنَؕ۝۲۶

27. This is not but an admonition to the entire world.

27. اِنْ هُوَ اِلَّا ذِكْرٌ لِّلْعٰلَمِیْنَۙ۝۲۷

28. For him among you who desire to be straight.

28. لِمَنْ شَآءَ مِنْكُمْ اَنْ یَّسْتَقِیْمَؕ۝۲۸

29. And what you desire, but only this that Allah the Lord of the world desires.

29. وَ مَا تَشَآءُوْنَ اِلَّاۤ اَنْ یَّشَآءَ اللّٰهُ رَبُّ الْعٰلَمِیْنَ۠۝۲۹
