Allah in the name of the most Affectionate the Merciful.

بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

1. Immensely blessed is He in Whose control is the entire Kingdom, and He has authority over every thing.

1. تَبٰرَكَ الَّذِیْ بِیَدِهِ الْمُلْكُ١٘ وَ هُوَ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَیْءٍ قَدِیْرُۙ۝۱

2. He, Who has created death and life that He might test you, as to whose work, is excellent among you. And He is the Esteemed one the Forgiving.

2. اِ۟لَّذِیْ خَلَقَ الْمَوْتَ وَ الْحَیٰوةَ لِیَبْلُوَكُمْ اَیُّكُمْ اَحْسَنُ عَمَلًا١ؕ وَ هُوَ الْعَزِیْزُ الْغَفُوْرُۙ۝۲

3. Who made seven heavens one upon the other. What difference do you see in the making of the Most Affectionate? Then look again carefully, do you see any crack?

3. الَّذِیْ خَلَقَ سَبْعَ سَمٰوٰتٍ طِبَاقًا١ؕ مَا تَرٰى فِیْ خَلْقِ الرَّحْمٰنِ مِنْ تَفٰوُتٍ١ؕ فَارْجِعِ الْبَصَرَ١ۙ هَلْ تَرٰى مِنْ فُطُوْرٍ۝۳

4. Then look again and again, the sight will return back to you defeated and fatigued.

4. ثُمَّ ارْجِعِ الْبَصَرَ كَرَّتَیْنِ یَنْقَلِبْ اِلَیْكَ الْبَصَرُ خَاسِئًا وَّ هُوَ حَسِیْرٌ۝۴

5. And undoubtedly, We adorned the lower heaven with lamps, and made them things to beat devils, and prepared for them the torment of blazing fire.

5. وَ لَقَدْ زَیَّنَّا السَّمَآءَ الدُّنْیَا بِمَصَابِیْحَ وَ جَعَلْنٰهَا رُجُوْمًا لِّلشَّیٰطِیْنِ وَ اَعْتَدْنَا لَهُمْ عَذَابَ السَّعِیْرِ۝۵

6. And for those who disbelieved in their Lord, there is the torment of Hell. And what an evil end it is?

6. وَ لِلَّذِیْنَ كَفَرُوْا بِرَبِّهِمْ عَذَابُ جَهَنَّمَ١ؕ وَ بِئْسَ الْمَصِیْرُ۝۶

7. When they shall be thrown in it, they will hear the braying as it boils up.

7. اِذَاۤ اُلْقُوْا فِیْهَا سَمِعُوْا لَهَا شَهِیْقًا وَّ هِیَ تَفُوْرُۙ۝۷

8. It seems that it will almost burst with severe fury. Whenever any group shall be thrown in it, its keepers will ask them, 'Did no warner come to you'?

8. تَكَادُ تَمَیَّزُ مِنَ الْغَیْظِ١ؕ كُلَّمَاۤ اُلْقِیَ فِیْهَا فَوْجٌ سَاَلَهُمْ خَزَنَتُهَاۤ اَلَمْ یَاْتِكُمْ نَذِیْرٌ۝۸

9. They will say, 'why not, yes indeed, the warner came to us, but we belied him and said, 'Allah has sent down nothing; you are not, but in great error".

9. قَالُوْا بَلٰى قَدْ جَآءَنَا نَذِیْرٌ١ۙ۬ فَكَذَّبْنَا وَ قُلْنَا مَا نَزَّلَ اللّٰهُ مِنْ شَیْءٍ١ۖۚ اِنْ اَنْتُمْ اِلَّا فِیْ ضَلٰلٍ كَبِیْرٍ۝۹

10. And they will say, 'if we had heard or reflected, we would not have been among the fellows of the Hell.

10. وَ قَالُوْا لَوْ كُنَّا نَسْمَعُ اَوْ نَعْقِلُ مَا كُنَّا فِیْۤ اَصْحٰبِ السَّعِیْرِ۝۱۰

11. Now they confessed their sins, then Curse be the fellows of the Hell.

11. فَاعْتَرَفُوْا بِذَنْۢبِهِمْ١ۚ فَسُحْقًا لِّاَصْحٰبِ السَّعِیْرِ۝۱۱

12. Undoubtedly, those who fear their Lord unseen, for them is forgiveness and great reward.

12. اِنَّ الَّذِیْنَ یَخْشَوْنَ رَبَّهُمْ بِالْغَیْبِ لَهُمْ مَّغْفِرَةٌ وَّ اَجْرٌ كَبِیْرٌ۝۱۲

13. And whether you keep your discourse secret or disclose, He knows full well the thoughts of your breasts.

13. وَ اَسِرُّوْا قَوْلَكُمْ اَوِ اجْهَرُوْا بِهٖ١ؕ اِنَّهٗ عَلِیْمٌۢ بِذَاتِ الصُّدُوْرِ۝۱۳

14. Will not He Who has created know? And it is He Knowing every subtle, the Aware.

14. اَلَا یَعْلَمُ مَنْ خَلَقَ١ؕ وَ هُوَ اللَّطِیْفُ الْخَبِیْرُ۠۝۱۴

15. It is He Who has made the earth submissive to you, therefore traverse through its tracks and eats of His provision. And to Him is the rising up.

15. هُوَ الَّذِیْ جَعَلَ لَكُمُ الْاَرْضَ ذَلُوْلًا فَامْشُوْا فِیْ مَنَاكِبِهَا وَ كُلُوْا مِنْ رِّزْقِهٖ١ؕ وَ اِلَیْهِ النُّشُوْرُ۝۱۵

16. Have you become fearless of Him whose Kingdom is in the heaven, that He may bury you in the earth, henceforth it remains shaking?

16. ءَاَمِنْتُمْ مَّنْ فِی السَّمَآءِ اَنْ یَّخْسِفَ بِكُمُ الْاَرْضَ فَاِذَا هِیَ تَمُوْرُۙ۝۱۶

17. Or have you become fearless of Him whoso Kingdom is in the heaven that He may send against you stoning. Now you will know, how was My warning?

17. اَمْ اَمِنْتُمْ مَّنْ فِی السَّمَآءِ اَنْ یُّرْسِلَ عَلَیْكُمْ حَاصِبًا١ؕ فَسَتَعْلَمُوْنَ كَیْفَ نَذِیْرِ۝۱۷

18. And undoubtedly, those before them belied, then how was My rejection.

18. وَ لَقَدْ كَذَّبَ الَّذِیْنَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ فَكَیْفَ كَانَ نَكِیْرِ۝۱۸

19. And have they not seen birds above them, spreading out their wings and closing them? None withholds them save the Most Affectionate Allah. Undoubtedly, He sees all things.

19. اَوَ لَمْ یَرَوْا اِلَى الطَّیْرِ فَوْقَهُمْ صٰٓفّٰتٍ وَّ یَقْبِضْنَ١ؕۘؔ مَا یُمْسِكُهُنَّ اِلَّا الرَّحْمٰنُ١ؕ اِنَّهٗ بِكُلِّ شَیْءٍۭ بَصِیْرٌ۝۱۹

20. Or which is your army that shall help you against the Most Affectionate Allah? The infidels are not but in delusion.

20. اَمَّنْ هٰذَا الَّذِیْ هُوَ جُنْدٌ لَّكُمْ یَنْصُرُكُمْ مِّنْ دُوْنِ الرَّحْمٰنِ١ؕ اِنِ الْكٰفِرُوْنَ اِلَّا فِیْ غُرُوْرٍۚ۝۲۰

21. Or who is he, who may provide you, if He withholds His provision? Nay, but they have become shameless in contumacy and dis-dain.

21. اَمَّنْ هٰذَا الَّذِیْ یَرْزُقُكُمْ اِنْ اَمْسَكَ رِزْقَهٗ١ۚ بَلْ لَّجُّوْا فِیْ عُتُوٍّ وَّ نُفُوْرٍ۝۲۱

22. Is he who walks prone on his face better guided than he who walks upright on a straight path?

22. اَفَمَنْ یَّمْشِیْ مُكِبًّا عَلٰى وَجْهِهٖۤ اَهْدٰۤى اَمَّنْ یَّمْشِیْ سَوِیًّا عَلٰى صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِیْمٍ۝۲۲

23. Say you, 'it is He Who produced you, and made for you ears and eyes and hearts'. How little you accept the truth?

23. قُلْ هُوَ الَّذِیْۤ اَنْشَاَكُمْ وَ جَعَلَ لَكُمُ السَّمْعَ وَ الْاَبْصَارَ وَ الْاَفْـِٕدَةَ١ؕ قَلِیْلًا مَّا تَشْكُرُوْنَ۝۲۳

24. Say you, 'it is He Who has spread you in the earth, and towards Him you shall be raised.

24. قُلْ هُوَ الَّذِیْ ذَرَاَكُمْ فِی الْاَرْضِ وَ اِلَیْهِ تُحْشَرُوْنَ۝۲۴

25. And they say, 'when this promise will come to pass. if you are truthful'.

25. وَ یَقُوْلُوْنَ مَتٰى هٰذَا الْوَعْدُ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ صٰدِقِیْنَ۝۲۵

26. Say you, 'the Knowledge of it is with Allah, and I am only a clear warner'.

26. قُلْ اِنَّمَا الْعِلْمُ عِنْدَ اللّٰهِ١۪ وَ اِنَّمَاۤ اَنَا نَذِیْرٌ مُّبِیْنٌ۝۲۶

27. Then when they will see it near at hand, the faces of the infidels will be vexed, and it will be said to them, 'this is what you used to ask for'.

27. فَلَمَّا رَاَوْهُ زُلْفَةً سِیْٓـَٔتْ وُجُوْهُ الَّذِیْنَ كَفَرُوْا وَ قِیْلَ هٰذَا الَّذِیْ كُنْتُمْ بِهٖ تَدَّعُوْنَ۝۲۷

28. Say you, 'look to it, if Allah destroys me and those with me or has mercy on us, then who will protect the infidels from the painful torment'?

28. قُلْ اَرَءَیْتُمْ اِنْ اَهْلَكَنِیَ اللّٰهُ وَ مَنْ مَّعِیَ اَوْ رَحِمَنَا١ۙ فَمَنْ یُّجِیْرُ الْكٰفِرِیْنَ مِنْ عَذَابٍ اَلِیْمٍ۝۲۸

29. Say you, 'He is the Most Affectionate, we believed in Him and relied upon Him, then now you will know, who is in manifest error'.

29. قُلْ هُوَ الرَّحْمٰنُ اٰمَنَّا بِهٖ وَ عَلَیْهِ تَوَكَّلْنَا١ۚ فَسَتَعْلَمُوْنَ مَنْ هُوَ فِیْ ضَلٰلٍ مُّبِیْنٍ۝۲۹

30. Say you, 'look to it, if your water in the morning go deep in the earth, then who would bring you water running before your eyes?'

30. قُلْ اَرَءَیْتُمْ اِنْ اَصْبَحَ مَآؤُكُمْ غَوْرًا فَمَنْ یَّاْتِیْكُمْ بِمَآءٍ مَّعِیْنٍ۠۝۳۰
